Overview
The Regional Revenue Manager is responsible for implementing and managing revenue management strategy and processes at a selected portfolio of transient RV properties within a large portfolio of RV resorts & campgrounds, optimizing and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Job Duties
  • Monitors reservation and revenue trends through various detailed reports and recommend strategies to senior management that will maximize revenue opportunities. (Essential)
  • Manages and monitors rates, booking pace, market mix, and site inventory. (Essential)
  • Monitors and understands the pricing of competitors, the dynamics of the local market, and demand generators by conducting market rate shops on a regular basis. (Essential)
  • Prepares for and conducts revenue management meetings involving rate and inventory strategies, transient/group pace, competitive business analysis and financial forecasts. (Essential)
  • Generates weekly and monthly critiques to property forecasts, identifying areas of opportunity and strategies to improve revenue and overall profitability. (Essential)
  • Establishes internal and external relationships to ensure similar goals and implement action plans to achieve optimum revenue management at assigned group of RV Resorts.
  • Collaborates with the marketing department to fabricate demand during need periods and identifies strategic e-blast and other marketing offers.
  • Performs displacement analysis on groups to support group sales decisions.
  • Prepares Sun RV Resorts transient RV and vacation rental revenue budgets on an annual basis and provides forecasting guidance on a quarterly basis.
  • Trains and supports associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand standards and consistent with Sun Communities core values.
  • Conducts property inspections/site visits with necessary leadership team members to identify revenue opportunities and proper site mix.
  • Provides feedback and suggestions for optimal mix by measuring and analyzing booking trends and pickup.
  • Assists with the development of revenue management processes within Sun Outdoors, including providing strategies for enhancements that will benefit revenue growth and efficiencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics. (Required)
  • 3 years in experience in a Revenue Management, Finance, or Business-related analytical role. (Required)
  • 6 months in previous property management or hospitality industry experience. (Required)
  • Strong attention to detail, modeling and organizational skills.
  • Must be comfortable manipulating data and have an aptitude to perform numerical analysis and formulate conclusions along with solutions.
  • Ability to multi-task between multiple departments and assignments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to use advanced formulas.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel by car or plane with overnight stays as required: 5-10%
