Caring Transitions of Washington, DC – North is seeking experienced auction/estate sale professionals or individuals with a true passion for thrifting, reselling, and uncovering hidden gems. If you love the hunt for valuable finds and have an eye for spotting rare or unique items, this is the role for you.

Candidates must be able to start with minimal training related to auctions and estate sales. You should be confident working independently in homes to evaluate, prepare, and list items for sale on CTBids.com.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sort and identify valuable household goods
  • Create organized, themed auction lots
  • Clean, stage, and photograph items using a smartphone
  • Research and write accurate, compelling item descriptions
  • Upload listings to CTBids.com
  • Assist with auction pickups, shipping, and item removal
  • Coordinate donations or disposal of unsold items
