Our technologies power aviation, radar, Satcom, space, and electronic warfare systems worldwide. If you’re passionate about RF design and want to work on traveling wave tubes (TWTs) from concept through production, this role is for you.### ### What you’ll do* Design, develop, and maintain high-power microwave amplifiers (TWTs) throughout the product lifecycle* Use advanced simulation tools to create electromagnetic designs and improve existing products* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust electrical and thermomechanical designs* Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for yield and reliability issues* Plan and execute engineering activities, including failure analysis and product development* Monitor product lines for performance improvements and manufacturability enhancements* Prepare technical input for proposals and customer communications* Ensure compliance with corporate, government, and contractual requirements### ### What you need* Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics with 7+ years experience, or Bachelor’s with 10+ years (required)* Knowledge of RF/microwave electronics, power electronics, and high-voltage practices (required)* Familiarity with HFSS, CST, or similar simulation tools; Python programming is a plus (advantage)* Understanding of ISO/AS9100 and Lean Six Sigma principles (advantage)* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (required)* Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (required)### ### What we offer* Competitive pay and comprehensive health benefits* 401(k) with company match and retirement plans* Paid time off and flexible work arrangements* Professional development and training opportunities* Employee wellness programs and assistance resources* A collaborative environment working on mission-critical technology### ### What happens nextApply online through Teledyne’s careers page.
