Our Client is an employee-owned, award-winning, architectural practice firm with a proven track record in practical, innovative and economical design. During a history spanning over 60 years, our client has designed some of Canada’s most notable buildings, primarily in healthcare.
Role
  • Assist and collaborate directly with Project Manager to execute highly creative, concept-driven, and artistic interior design projects
  • Handle interior design projects from start to finish
  • Prepare renderings and presentation material for client & project meetings
  • Prepare complete and detailed construction packages
  • Source materials, finishes, fixtures and furniture
  • Assist with project coordination and contract administration
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Hold a Degree or Diploma in Interior Design
  • Have great design skills, style and is excited about creative work
  • Must be extremely proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Adobe and Photoshop
  • Excellent understanding of construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent understanding of BC building code
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as a team
  • Must have a positive attitude and be enthusiastic about developing his or her interior design career
  • Have great communication & client facing skills

  • Institutional experience in the healthcare, justice, and research facility areas of practice
