Description:

Stakkd Companies focuses on the development of Self-Storage Facilities, Industrial ARSR Cold Storage, and Ambient Storage Warehouses (Stakkd Storage) that is supported by a vertically integrated manufacturing operation that designs, manufactures and installs palletized and mini-load rack systems (Stakkd Rack). Our corporate headquarters is Indianapolis, Indiana and our manufacturing facility is in Franklin, Indiana. Stakkd Companies is building a team of top-tier professionals to collaborate, execute and grow together.


Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Project Manager to join our growing team. This position is critical for driving internal sales growth and managing the successful execution of our rack manufacturing and installation projects. Ideally, the Project Manager position will develop, grow, and advance into a Business Development position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, client management, a desire to advance quickly to a Business Development role and a passion for technological innovation in the material handling, storage, and real estate sectors. This position will report to the Operations Executive.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle for ASRS rack manufacturing and installation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, production, accounting, and logistics, to ensure project milestones are met and the project is delivered on time and to the customer’s specifications.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards throughout the manufacturing and installation process.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on existing and future projects, which may include preparing and presenting compelling presentations, proposals, or progress meetings.
  • Partnering directly with various key stakeholders from soliciting additional business from current clients through the execution of contracts, including clients, design engineers, structural engineers, plant teams, transportation/logistics, installation, and more.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience and success in project management preferably in the ASRS, industrial manufacturing, industrial and/or material handling Industry
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing complex manufacturing and installation projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficient in using CRM software, project management tools, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and oversee projects in the US and Mexico.
