Job description

Research Assistant Utah State University Overview The San Juan County Extension office is in search of a research technician to provide extended support for gathering historic tribal grazing knowledge within the tribal communities of San Juan County. This position is telework eligible within the state of Utah.

Engaging with stakeholders Collaborating with multiple partnering agencies Follow and oversee IRB processes Develop project materials for recruiting participants Organize educational events for tribal outreach efforts Qualifications Bachelor's degree Computer skills GIS mapping experience Required Documents Along with the online application, please attach: Resume to be uploaded at the beginning of your application in the Candidate Profile under "Resume/CV". Document size may not exceed 10 MB. Advertised Salary $22.00 /hr ADA Some locations will be outdoor, remote and require the use of ATV or other equipment to travel to rural residents within the various tribal communities.
