The Carolina Latinx Center provides students, faculty and staff the opportunity to explore Latinx cultures, histories and tradition and to use that understanding to work across racial and ethnic communities in North Carolina and the world. For faculty, staff and students who are engaged in research, teaching and/or service related to Latinx communities and issues, the CLC connects them both with one another and with community partners.

Position Summary
The Program Assistant for the Carolina Latinx Center supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of programs and initiatives that foster engagement, leadership development, cultural awareness, and community building for UNC-Chapel Hill. This role provides administrative, logistical, and operational support for events, student programs, communications, and outreach efforts while helping create an inclusive and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners. The Program Assistant collaborates closely with campus and community stakeholders to advance the Center's mission through engagement, scholarship, public service, and advocacy.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Management Preferences
- Bilingual
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (some evenings required)
