Job description

A Research Program Manager contributes to AHF by being responsible for leading the day to day operational management of public health research studies. This position oversees research staff, coordinates study implementation, and partners with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high quality research that advances HIV/STI prevention, treatment, and public health initiatives.
A Research Program Manager enhances the reputation of AHF by serving as a leader within the division by postering collaboration, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement while supporting AHF's mission of providing cutting edge medicine and technology regardless of patient's ability to pay.

To be successful as a Research Program Manager it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.
The Research Program Manager will work as a part of a close-knit team to coordinate daily research operations within the team and partnering with the Wellness team to streamline workflows in the clinic. This role proactively identifies and addresses operational challenges to advance HIV/STI prevention, testing, and treatment outcomes across AHF. The Research Program Manager contributes to conducting literature reviews and supporting manuscript writing internally and in collaboration with external partners.
