Manage, oversee, and design engineering simulations, experiments, and tests, and collect and analyze data while ensuring data integrity, quality control, and research reproducibility. Maintain currency with relevant state-of-the-art technologies, equipment, systems, communications and networking methods, and machine learning techniques. Publish research findings in leading peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Work under the general direction of senior investigators while demonstrating increasing independence in research design and execution.
35% Supervise Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Researchers: Provide research supervision and technical mentoring to graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, research associates, and other research personnel. Guide research planning, technical development, experimental and simulation activities, publication preparation, sponsor deliverables, and professional development while fostering a collaborative and inclusive research environment.
