What does a research nutritionist do?

A Research Nutritionist studies the effects of food, nutrients, and dietary patterns on health and disease. They design, conduct, and analyze experiments or surveys to understand how nutrition impacts various populations. Their work often involves developing evidence-based dietary guidelines, collaborating with other scientists, and publishing findings in scientific journals. Research Nutritionists may work in academic, government, or private sector settings to improve public health and influence nutrition policy.
