Job Summary and Qualifications

The Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Labย Scientistย (MLS) conducts routine and complex laboratory tests in toxicology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and/or microbiology for use in patient diagnosis and treatment of disease. Join our team of dedicated professionals thatย isย committed to delivering the best patient care.ย 

What you will do in this role:ย ย 

  • You will perform chemical, hematology,ย serological, immunohematology,ย and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
  • You will produceย accurateย results in hematology, serology, chemistry, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis,ย microbiologyย and otherย areas asย designated.
  • You willย maintainย quality results by running standards and controls, calibrating equipmentย utilizingย approved testing procedures, verifying equipment function through routineย maintenance,ย and monitoring quality control measures and protocols.

What Qualifications You Will Need:ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in laboratory scienceย or related scienceย requiredย OR โ€œGrandfatheredโ€ as a medical technologist by CLIA 88
  • MT(ASCP), CLS or MLS(ASCP) or, asย appropriate, BB(ASCP), C(ASCP), I (ASCP), H(ASCP), or M(ASCP) certification or equivalent required OR registry/certification eligible.
  • Registry/certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
  • Experience preferredย
