highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked national law firm
seeking a
5 plus year Patent Attorney or Patent Agent
to join its
San Francisco, California
office.

This is a 100 percent transactional patent prosecution position supporting sophisticated technology clients, with substantial drafting and prosecution responsibility and regular direct interaction with inventors and technical stakeholders. The role is structured as non partnership track for attorney candidates.

The firm offers a collaborative Intellectual Property platform with experienced practitioners and a steady flow of high value prosecution work. Candidates who prefer an in office environment and enjoy partnering closely with engineers and scientists will find the day to day especially engaging.

The Opportunity

Work will focus on drafting and prosecuting United States and international patent applications, developing prosecution strategy, responding to office actions, and managing active patent portfolios. The practice has a notable need for attorneys and agents who are fluent in wireless telecommunications concepts including 5G, 6G, and WiFi and who can translate complex engineering into clear patent specifications and claims.

Ideal Candidate Profile

5 plus year Patent Attorney or Patent Agent
