What we are looking for:
Yazaki is looking for a Specialist to join the Purchasing team in Canton MI The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.
What you will be doing:
• Facilitates urgent requests for component information from Business Units and Affiliates
• Supports and maintain GPDB (Pricing, Price Correction, Transaction Reports, Part Registration, PBI reports, Lead time, Contract End Date, etc.)
o Updates Metal Adjustors
o Monthly/Quarterly pricing updates
• Supports/Monitors eRFQ's for existing and new components
• Processes Price Change Notifications (PCN/SCN) and enters information in the cost savings tracker (CST)
• Follow up to ensure sign off and released to the Pant Affiliates and Business Units
• Supports new supplier registration and non-disclosure agreements are completed and filed properly in SharePoint
• Participates in continuous improvement of supplier metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
• Supports Accounts Payable with invoice discrepancies, works with suppliers and issues memos as required
o Save and track all memos in SharePoint
• Populates and conducts roadmap audits on volume and contract pricing accuracy
• Supports Data Management in cleanup efforts in GPDB
• Supports special projects and/or lead/SME for specific functions
o Develop training guideline / work instructions and train users
• Supports Supplier Change Request (SCR) process
• Support SAP Tool PO process
What you will bring to the table:
  • An associates degree or equivalent work experience
  • Automotive or related experience, preferrably atleast 2 years
  • Application of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
