Overview

We are searching for an experienced Process Engineer - at our Redmond, OR facility. 

Chase Doors, located in Redmond, Oregon, is a door manufacturing company looking for an experienced Process Engineer. This position is responsible for, but not limited to; implementation and execution of Kaizen activity, analysis of data to determine areas of improvement or risk and developing and maintaining tools and procedures for capturing continuous improvement activity. Critical thinking, problem solving skills and high mechanical aptitude are a must.

Responsibilities

  • Owns Kaizen implementation and execution.
  • Owns process documentation and oversight.
  • Oversees and tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and impact of changes implemented.
  • Develop and maintain recordkeeping tools and processes for reporting all continuous improvement activity.
  • Conducts Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience as a Process Engineer is required.
  • Excels in Lean Enterprise tools, 5S, PDCA, root cause analysis.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills including root cause analysis.
  • Able to interpret CAD drawings and Models.
  • Strength in Computer Skills (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Good interpersonal skills, including ability to work in a self-directed environment, and strong communication skills (written and oral).
  • Excellent mechanical/technical skills.
  • Basic understanding of ERP systems and general business terminology.
  • Some travel may be required.
