WAR MEMORIAL CENTER: Development Coordinator
A respected nonprofit organization is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Development Coordinator to support fundraising operations, donor engagement, and development activities. This position plays a key role in maintaining donor relationships, supporting fundraising initiatives, managing donor records, and assisting with special events and campaigns.
The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting mission-driven work.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain donor and constituent databases
  • Process donations, acknowledgments, and donor correspondence
  • Prepare fundraising materials, reports, mailing lists, and communications
  • Support fundraising campaigns, sponsorships, and donor stewardship activities
  • Assist with donor research and grant-related administrative support
  • Coordinate memorial and tribute giving programs
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, filing, mailings, and recordkeeping
  • Assist with fundraising and special event logistics and onsite support
  • Generate reports and analyze donor and fundraising data
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit administration
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with donor databases such as Blackbaud Raiserโ€™s Edge or similar CRM systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Experience in nonprofit development operations strongly preferred
