Job description


  • Direct planning and implementation of clinical research protocols within K-12 settings

  • Ensure high-quality execution of programs focused on student social-emotional and behavioral success

  • Identify and solicit new internal and external research opportunities

  • Promote center capabilities and recommend strategic program enhancements to leadership

  • Develop and maintain clinical research policies, standard operating procedures, and operational guidelines

  • Compile audits and document research data for compliance with institutional policies and procedures

  • Compose, assemble, and submit grant proposals and research protocols

  • Supervise at least 2.0 FTE clinical research staff, including hiring, performance management, and professional development

  • Manage program functioning and fiscal health through budgets, expenditure monitoring, and resource optimization

  • Plan staff implementation and ongoing quality review of clinical research trials or programs

  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, investigators, and school/community stakeholders under Principal Investigator supervision


Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and managing clinical research trials or programs involving human subjects

  • Experience exercising supervisory authority, including hiring, performance management, and professional development of staff

  • Ability to compose, assemble, and submit grant proposals and research protocols in accordance with federal, state, and institutional regulations

  • Knowledge of clinical research policies and procedures, including IRB standards and data privacy such as HIPAA or FERPA

  • Experience developing and monitoring program budgets, including reviewing and approving expenditures

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Master's degree required

  • Preferred degree in education, psychology, social services, education, school psychology, social work, or a related field

  • Eligibility to work in the United States

  • Successful applicants may be subject to a criminal background check

  • Three professional references required
