Job Summary
The Brand and Product Marketing Manager, nLightยฎ and Software, reporting to the Director of Marketing Controls - Electronics, is responsible for developing and assessing the brand and product positioning messages, audience-based communications including promotional programs, and product releases. The Brand and Product Marketing Manager is a curious, productivity-oriented and results driven individual with strong project management skills, who leverages data, research, understanding and collaboration to formulate recommendations and drive action plans to on-point messaging, on-time delivery, and on-budget. Responsible for assessing the nLight & Software brand, product, and customer value within the ecosystem within the lighting controls and connected building ecosystem to develop clear positioning, compelling messaging, and effective communication strategies. This role articulates brand and product value consistently through asset creation and communication tactics, while delivering on company, team, and personal performance objectives in collaboration with marketing, product management, sales, and other cross-functional partners.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
1) Light and Software Brand Management - End User Focus
  • Manage brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and guidelines to ensure value is communicated consistently across audiences, with a strong focus on customer needs and outcomes
  • Understand and communicate nLight and software product objectives within the lighting controls segment and broader connected building ecosystem.
  • Identify and support opportunities and strengthen brand representation and accuracy at industry events, sponsorships and customer engagements. 2.

2) Electronics Product Releases - Driving Execution
  • Execute the product communication release process and manage marketing deliverables across owned, organic, and paid channels.
  • Assess related brand and product assets and coordinate required updates across websites, sales enablement tools, product collateral, and communication platforms.
  • Gather input and cross-functional alignment on messaging to support an annual content calendar and execute associated communication tactics. 3.

3) Cross-Functional Collaboration - Strategic Influence
  • Collaborate on vertical and customer programs and related assets
  • Conduct interviews and gather insights to create project references, testimonials, case studies and thought leadership.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure messaging reflects product value, customer needs, market trends, and business priorities.

4)Measurement and Continuous Improvement - Results Driven
  • Leverage Key Performance Indicators, voice of customer, market research to identify opportunities and performance enhancements.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or communication is preferred.
  • Proven B2B product marketing experience, ideally hardware and software products
  • Ability to translate technical product capabilities into clear customer value propositions and audience-specific messaging.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives, and deliver on time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
