Sr. Research Data Engineer (40 hours)

100% REMOTE - Local preferred, but not required
Working Hours 8am-5pm Pacific standard time
22-week contract
Description
Research Data Engineer working with SQL Server and Oracle platforms to assist with research data projects. Full PD available with details.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and six years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR Associate's degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and seven years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR Eight years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR equivalent combination of education and experience where one year of experience will be substituted for an Associate's degree and two years of experience will be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Experience:
• Two or more years of paid work experience as a Systems/Application Analyst or Application Administrator.
• 4 years of experience applying advanced MS SQL server knowledge in the use of SSIS, T-SQL, Stored Procedure, and database object definition.
• 3 years supporting and maintaining a Data Warehouse and associated ETL
• Experience reporting on the Epic Clarity Database.
• Experience reporting on the Epic Caboodle Data Warehouse.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and planning and managing projects.
• Experience managing small to medium-sized projects, tracking progress with project planning software, creating and maintaining project documentation
