The Data Analyst, Seniorย will direct and perform logical data modeling, identify patterns in data, design, analyze and document the enterprise data warehouse and ETL processes supporting it.ย  This team member actively participates in Data Governance initiatives to support the Enterprise Data Strategy across operational and analytical database environments. This position will work closely with the Data Analyst Lead working close to support the Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Essential Functions

Analyze and mining business data to identify patterns and correlations among the various data points.

โ€ข

Map and trace data within the enterprise data framework in order to solve a given business or system problem.

โ€ข

Design and create marts to support the business intelligence tools and provide data to the end users in support of business decisions.

โ€ข

Perform statistical analysis of the enterprise data.ย ย Extract existing data to manipulate/calculate/format into useful presentations.

โ€ข

Identify and explore opportunities to enhance enterprise analytical databases using knowledge gained from experience and from an understanding of emerging methodologies .

โ€ข

Create and document logical data integration (ETL) strategies for data flows between source/target systems and the Enterprise Data Warehouse.

โ€ข

Perform a variety of in-depth data analysis, data modeling, and data administration tasks on complicated datasets with potentially complex data integration scenarios with limited supervision.ย 

โ€ข

Establish, maintain, adhere to, and enforce Enterprise Data modeling and Data Integration standards.ย ย 

โ€ข

Must support innovations by actively keeping technical and professional business knowledge current on emerging technology andย ย Data Trends which may fit with enterprise needs.ย ย Must be able to research and accurately articulate benefits and goals of these technologies.
