Overview

M&J Engineering is a leader in construction management and inspection, ITS, mechanical, electrical, wastewater, water supply, tunnel airport, port, marine/coastal, environmental engineering, and design-build services for both new infrastructure projects and renovations.
The Market Analyst / Contract Administrator supports WMATA's procurement and outreach functions through market research, contract administration, and vendor engagement. This dual-role position is critical to ensuring informed decision-making, robust market participation, and full contract compliance across capital projects and operational procurements. The ideal candidate will blend analytical capabilities with administrative precision and a strong understanding of public procurement practices and market trends.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct market analysis and vendor profiling.
  • Draft and manage contract documentation and amendments.
  • Track contract performance and compliance metrics.
  • Support outreach initiatives with data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with legal and procurement teams.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, or Public Administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in market analysis or contract administration.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with public procurement regulations.

Salary: $95,000 - $115,000
