Salary: The budgeted salary range for this position is $52,000.00 - $56,000.00 annually.ย Final salary offered will be determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity,ย candidate experience and qualifications, and budget constraints.

Visiting Research Associate I - Cancer Center (Job ID#1040997)
The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), one of the nationโs leading urban public research universities, is seeking to fill a position for a Visiting Research Associate I. This position supports a variety of research activities by assisting with literature reviews, data collection, coding, cleaning, and analysis to ensure the accuracy and integrity of research datasets. The Visiting Research Associate I, will coordinate study logistics and research documentation, maintain detailed records and reports, support protocol adherence and regulatory compliance, and assist with experimental procedures and general research operations. Additional responsibilities include conducting surveys, interviews, and observations according to established research protocols, maintaining study supplies and inventories, and supporting special projects as assigned.ย

Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in social science or related field required.
- Knowledge of fundamental research concepts, practices and procedures.
- Entry level knowledge of research methods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in immunoassay design for peptide- and nucleic acid- based biologics.
- Proficiency in preparing data for presentations, manuscripts, and reports to stakeholder agencies.
