Position Summary
The Senior Research Assistant will support the design, execution, management, and evaluation of research projects at the Morehouse School of Medicine Prevention Research Center. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data while collaborating with research teams, faculty, and students. The Senior Research Assistant will also assist in the preparation of publications, reports, presentations, and grant proposals. The Senior Research Assistant will be responsible for scheduling and hosting meetings to identify research project evaluation needs, provide progress updates, and to communicate research or evaluation findings.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in public health or related health or social sciences field
Experience:
โ€ข 4+ years of experience conducting quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method data analyses.
โ€ข Experience in data collection, analysis, and report writing
โ€ข Experience with data collection and statistical software (e.g., Qualtrics, REDcap, SPSS)
โ€ข Experience or strong interest in community-based research and evaluation
โ€ข Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
โ€ข Master's degree is preferred.
โ€ข Relevant research certifications (e.g., CITI, HIPAA, etc.) are a plus.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in research software such as SPSS, R, SAS, or related.

Research Support:
โ€ข Assist in the design, execution, and management of research projects, ensuring alignment with study protocols.
โ€ข Assist with developing data collection instruments.
โ€ข Collect, process, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
