Lab Research Analyst, I  - Lechler Laboratory

 

The Laboratory of Dr. Terry Lechler, Professor in the Department of Cell Biology is seeking a highly motivated and creative Lab Research Analyst, I to join our research team. This researcher will perform a variety of complex and independent activities involved in planning, organizing and conducting research studies within the overall scope of the research projects in the Lechler lab.

Minimum Requirements: 

Min Degree Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant research experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

This position is 

  • Onsite. The work is performed on-site or at a designated assignment location.

Lab Maintenance

  • This includes ordering of supplies, making plates, solution, and media, care of equipment, and genotyping

Research, Including Data Analysis

  • This includes cell biologic, molecular biological, and biochemical approaches not limited to cell culture, immunofluorescence analysis, data quantitation and visualization, use of mouse models, etc. 

Meetings, Training, Supervision

  • Expectations for attendance in participation in lab meetings, training and supervision of undergraduates and rotation students.
