TAG-CX Sponsorship & Finance Internship

Location: Remote (Atlanta-based preferred for event support)
Time Commitment: 3–8 hours/week (flexible based on workload)
Duration: 18 weeks | August–December 2026
Compensation: Unpaid (high-impact, resume-building experience)

About the Opportunity

TAG CX is looking for a curious and driven intern to support our Sponsorship & Finance Committee. This is not a “sit back and observe” internship - this is a chance to contribute to real strategy, real partnerships, and real outcomes.

You’ll work at the intersection of customer experience, partnerships, and revenue strategy, helping shape how TAG-CX attracts, engages, and retains sponsors in a dynamic, event-driven ecosystem.

This role is ideal for someone interested in exposure to senior leaders across Atlanta’s CX and technology community.

Featured Project: AI + Sponsorship Strategy

As part of this internship, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to an AI-driven initiative focused on sponsorship strategy, including:

  • Using AI tools to identify and prioritize high-potential sponsor targets
  • Analyzing company positioning, leadership priorities, and market signals
  • Supporting the development of data-informed outreach strategies
  • Exploring how AI can enhance personalization and efficiency in partner engagement

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience applying AI to real business problems—not just theory.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct research on prospective sponsors and create concise, executive-ready insights
  • Support development of sponsorship strategy, segmentation, and targeting
  • Assist in building and refining pitch materials and sponsorship packages
  • Help manage outreach tracking, documentation, and internal processes
  • Contribute to sponsor engagement efforts and follow-ups
  • Attend at least two TAG CX events to gain in-person exposure and networking opportunities
