Job Description

Allegis Global Solutions is currently recruiting a Public Relations Specialist to support media, analyst and public relations, responsible for leading and executing integrated external communications that strengthen brand reputation, visibility and credibility. This position leads PR efforts, while also supporting brand communications, executive and thought leadership strategies, and supporting online reputation management in line with company objectives. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong storytelling instincts, and the ability to translate complex business and industry topics into compelling narratives across earned, owned and shared channels.

The ideal candidate also brings strong communications expertise, including the ability to identify and refine key messages for targeted audiences; develop and execute communication strategies; conduct research and interviews with subject matter experts; translate complex information into clear, compelling narratives; and recommend effective communications and PR tactics. This individual is highly capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

The role collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to advance brand and business objectives. Strong project management skills are essential to coordinate stakeholders, support PR campaigns, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Write content for press releases, speeches, media commentary, web and social media.
  • Coordinate media requests and subject matter expert interviews.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with industry analysts, associations and external influencers to strengthen brand visibility, credibility and market positioning.
  • Lead the strategy, development and submission of industry award applications, RFIs, rankings and individual recognition nominations, ensuring accurate, compelling and on-brand representation of the organization and its leaders.
  • Conduct research on various topics and facilitate interviews with relevant stakeholders to identify storytelling opportunities for earned media. 
  • Help maintain corporate image and identity-supporting crisis communications and reputation monitoring. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams for production and publication of various content. 
  • Analyze performance indicators and analytics to determine the effectiveness of content. 
  • Manage multiple ongoing projects and deliver high-quality work on time
  • Maintain knowledge of market conditions and competitive activities
  • Interact with people at all levels of the organization and develop strong relationships
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience public relations and communications 
  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, communications, journalism or relevant field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to articulate AGS' brand tone, voice, and messaging with a great command for detail and grammar
  • Proficiency in project management and execution of PR campaigns 
  • Aptitude in presentation and public speaking; ability to prepare/coach leaders at all levels within an organization 
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to set and adhere to deadlines  
  • Ability to quickly understand our global clients and markets to articulate the value we deliver
  • Skilled at cross-channel collaboration (content, web, social media, graphic design, etc.) 
  • Ability to be detail-oriented, highly organized 
  • Ability to perform independently in addition to collaborating within a team environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the calendar year
Additional Information

Per Pay Transparency: The range for this position is $79,400 - $93,000 + bonus potential of up to $9,000.
