About the Position

The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting clientele and supporting the operational and sales needs of the business.

A day in the life...

  • Understand the overall concept of the Lilly Pulitzer brand, including the lifestyle, the client, the merchandise, and the heritage.
  • Demonstrate the Lilly Pulitzer selling culture and ensure client experience.
  • Drive sales by providing an exceptional service while utilizing product knowledge, market trends, personalized outreach, and active listening/communication to clientele.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Help maintain Lilly Pulitzer's visual and operational standards as set by the Visual and Retail Operations teams.
  • Provide continuous feedback to store management team on store selling opportunities and successes.
  • Understand, embrace, and exhibit the Core Values set forth by Lilly Pulitzer.
Qualifications for the Position
  • Prior retail or client service experience in the fashion or retail industry preferred. be on your feet and maneuver around the store during shift hours.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Prior knowledge of XStore and Tulip a plus.

  • This position is classified as a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position.
  • This position is based In-Store at our Lilly Pulitzer Retail Location.
  • Given the seasonality of the business, this position may require flexible working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • This position is expected to collaborate effectively with other individuals in alignment with our Core Values.
  • This position requires compliance with Lilly Pulitzer policies and a detailed Code of Conduct as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • This position is reviewed annually.

Pay Range:

$15.75/hour- $18.75/hour

Pay is based on multiple factors, such as qualifications/skills/experience, geography, and state and local wage laws. In addition, bonus and/or commission and benefits including healthcare, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and product discounts may be offered.
