We are seeking a dedicated and highly-skilled Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (PA-C), or Certified Nurse Midwife (office-only) to join our established OB/GYN practice and healthcare team in Cranford, NJ.
This position is for part time at least 16 hours and includes every Thursday and Friday at a fast-paced, high-volume practice.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a MSN program or MSPAS program
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Women's Health outpatient setting, required
  • Experience with well-woman visits, IUD and Nexplanon insertions/removals, endometrial biopsies; colposcopy a plus.
  • Experience in a high-volume OB/GYN setting, required.
  • Current NJ CNM, APN or Physician Assistant License, CDS and DEA
  • Ability to provide services in a fast paced practice, high patient-volume practice (30+ patients/day).

This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive women's health services, including preventive care, reproductive health, and management of complex gynecological conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent patient assessment skills, and a passion for empowering women through quality healthcare delivery. This position emphasizes collaborative practice, innovative treatment approaches, and adherence to the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality.
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments focused on women's health needs, including routine screenings, family planning, and gynecological evaluations.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions related to reproductive health, utilizing evidence-based practices and current clinical guidelines.
  • Perform procedures such as IUD and Nexplanon insertions/removals, endometrial biopsies and other minor gynecological interventions.
  • Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, contraception options, and lifestyle modifications tailored to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with OB/GYN physician and other healthcare providers when complex cases arise requiring multidisciplinary input.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation, order entry, and follow-up care coordination.

Skills:
  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for documentation and order management.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation specific to women's health.
  • Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-10 coding standards.
  • Skills in managing acute pain cases and providing appropriate pain management strategies.
