We seek a mission-driven professional to serve as the operational lead for RHCNโ€™s clinical portfolio. The Manager of Clinical Programs & Initiatives translates organizational strategy into statewide clinical programs, workforce development, technical assistance, quality improvement, peer learning, and innovative initiatives with partner agencies.
  • Salary range: $74,000โ€“$84,000 per year, plus full benefits
  • Hours per week: 40 hours/exempt
OVERVIEW

Reproductive Health Collaborative Nebraska (RHCN) advances access to quality sexual and reproductive healthcare and education statewide. We are a small, collaborative funding organization that brings together federal and private resources to strengthen programs, partnerships, and best practices across Nebraska.

We seek a mission-driven professional to serve as the operational lead for RHCNโ€™s clinical portfolio. The Clinical Programs & Initiatives Manager translates organizational strategy into statewide clinical programs, workforce development, technical assistance, quality improvement, and project implementation. They will bring a commitment to reproductive justice and improving health outcomes, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to move between strategy and day-to-day delivery.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Programs & Initiatives.

Successful candidates will understand sexual and reproductive health practice or programming, clinical operations, quality improvement, and project implementation. They will bring a commitment to reproductive justice and improving health outcomes, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to move between strategy and day-to-day delivery.

WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO

Program/Project Management

  • Serve as the operational lead for RHCNโ€™s clinical portfolio and coordinate clinical subject-matter expertise, requirements, and support for funded partners.
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of Training Center offerings, including clinical training, Lunch & Learn sessions, webinars, and communities of practice.
  • Lead implementation of clinical programs, pilots, and quality improvement initiatives that advance quality, access, and improve sexual and reproductive healthcare outcomes.
  • Support the creation and implementation of research and evaluation plans for clinical innovations and programs.
  • Coordinate clinical technical assistance for funded partner nursing and healthcare staff, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation.
  • Plan, facilitate, and evaluate clinical roundtables and peer-learning forums for network providers.
  • Manage project plans and training calendars and coordinate with RHCN staff and partners to support successful implementation.

Administration and Process Improvement

  • Manage the day-to-day implementation of RHCN-led clinical initiatives.
  • Coordinate the implementation, review, and continuous improvement of clinical policies, procedures, protocols, and compliance practices.
  • Develop and maintain clinical job aids, implementation tools, resource guides, and educational materials.

Program Evolution and Growth

  • Serve as a thought partner to grow and evolve RHCN programming that advances quality, access and improvement in sexual and reproductive healthcare outcomes in Nebraska.
  • Research and apply local, regional, and national best practices to strengthen clinical programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with RHCN staff and funded partners to identify program development needs and opportunities.
  • Use knowledge of the statewide sexual and reproductive health landscape to inform clinical strategy and programming.

Clinical and Public Health Partnership Development

  • Build and sustain partnerships with clinical and public health organizations, community partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Medical Director and Title X Project Director to operationalize clinical guidance, standards, technical assistance, and quality improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate works well both collaboratively and independently, builds trusted partnerships, and turns clinical knowledge into practical programs, tools, and improvements.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Commitment to RHCNโ€™s mission, reproductive justice, and promoting health outcomes in clinical and community settings.
  • Knowledge of clinical operations, quality improvement, and sexual and reproductive health practice or programming.
  • Ability to move between strategic thinking and day-to-day implementation.
  • Effective, supportive communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A collaborative and adaptive leadership style, with the ability to support change.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, follow-through, and practical problem-solving.
  • Strong organization, project coordination, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required in health or related sciences, business, or another related discipline.
  • A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience in a clinical role, program development and coordination within a not-for-profit, health center, or government entity, ideally focused on sexual and reproductive health, public health, or another relevant field required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check successfully post-employment offer. Valid driverโ€™s license and current automotive insurance.
  • Consistent and regular attendance at onsite meetings, and travel to community, key travel to partner and community meetings as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Preferred:

  • Clinical quality improvement or quality assurance experience.
  • Experience with group facilitation, coaching, adult learning, or curriculum development.
  • An advanced degree or clinical background preferred (RN, CNM, MSN, MS, MPH, or another health-related discipline).
