Job description

Are you an organized, detail-oriented individual looking to make a difference in the financial world? Are you excited about getting your finance career started with a fast-growing company?As a Financial Recovery Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the Financial Recovery team through administrative, clerical, and member service functions. This role focuses on maintaining accurate records, assisting with delinquent accounts, and providing exceptional service to members and vendors, while contributing to the overall success of the department. Please note that this position requires availability on Saturday mornings/early afternoons at least once a month.What You'll Do:Performs clerical duties as assigned by management.Processes GAP and Extended Warranty for repossessed vehicles.Issues final notice charge-off letters.Works on in house charge off accounts for payment arrangements and follow up.Maintains charge off tracking sheet.Monitors collection agency placement and follow-up.Completes Disability and Life Claim follow up and monthly log.Updates Propay transactions as needed.Helps with bankruptcy accounts- print needed items, scan, etc.Follows up and collects on delinquent real estate taxes.Updates notes with weekly repossession updates and bills from collection agencies.Mails out delinquent notices.Accurately scans documents and quality control of scanned documents.Accurately and in a timely manner completes assigned duties.Greets and directs vendors in an appropriate manner.Provides departmental telephone support as needed with incoming and/or outgoing calls.Follows organization's policies, procedures, and directives, and adheres to all applicable regulations including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act.Qualifications:Six months to two years of similar or related experience.High school education or GED required.Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.Outgoing, friendly, energetic, seeks solutions, problem solving, thrives in team environment.Detail oriented.Basic mathematical skills.
