LOT ATTENDANT JOB DESCRIPTION


The role of a lot attendant is a critical component in the overall repossession process. When the vehicle is repossessed, it will be brought to the lot by the repossession field agent. It is the lot attendants responsibility to clean out the asset by removing the personal property and placing into bags, tagging and organizing.


A list of the following are other job requirements:


Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%, stand or sit


Requires objects to be moved from one place to another with the ability to lift 50 pound boxes to a height of 3-4 feet and load them into shelving or other places.


The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside and outside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, vehicles, storage, etc. at least 75% of the time.


Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a fax, copy machine, and computer printer.


Constantly positions self to maintain item removals from repossessed units, including the front and back seats as well as the trunk


The person in this position frequently communicates with debtors who have inquiries about their personal property or repossessed vehicle. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.


Must be able to detect and identify personal property, what is trash, what needs to go to the authorities and other.


Constantly works in any and all outdoor weather conditions.


Requirements:


Must be at least 24 years of age


Must pass a background and drug test


Must have a clean driving record


Be a self-starter


Good verbal and written communication skills


Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills


Good communication skills and are trustworthy
