Senior Manager, Contracts Management
Location: Marietta GA
What You Will Be Doing
This role is intended to serve as the Contracts lead for the Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) Development portfolio. The AMMM Development portfolio is one of three product portfolios within AMMM, and includes development of new and replacement capabilities for multiple aircraft types. The portfolio also includes potential international programs.
The role requires a skilled senior Contracts lead with a background in managing different contract types, building effective relationships with different internal and external customers, and training and developing employees. The role also requires comprehension of overall program and contract lifecycle management, including the relationship between development and production programs.
The specific day-to-day obligations of this role are being finalized in light of a recent portfolio realignment within AMMM.

Your ability to navigate diverse contract types while balancing business objectives, customer needs, and risk considerations enables you to provide sound guidance and drive successful outcomes.
You excel at building trusted relationships across cross-functional teams, including program management, business development, finance, legal, and executive leadership, while fostering strong partnerships with external customers and stakeholders. As a leader, you are committed to developing talent, mentoring employees, and creating an environment where teams can grow and perform at their highest level. You are comfortable operating in dynamic environments, adapting to evolving priorities, and providing strategic direction during periods of organizational change. Your combination of business acumen, leadership capability, and contract expertise allows you to effectively support critical mission-focused programs and contribute to long-term portfolio success.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience Contracting with both United States Government (USG) and foreign customers.
- Experience Leading teams of Contracts professionals.
- Experience Interfacing with program and functional executives of increasing level/seniority.
- Experience Developing and implementing successful contracting strategies on an individual contract basis and across a portfolio of related/impacted contracts.
- Experience with Disciplined contract lifecycle management.
- Able to travel domestically and internationally.
- Direct experience using both oral and written communication skills.
Desired skills
* Advanced degree in relevant subject (e.g., Contracts management, Master of Business Administration, Juris Doctor).
* Experience with Lockheed Martin business management systems.
* Participation in contracts management professional organizations (e.g., National Contract Management Association) and/or possession of contracting professional certifications (e.g., Certified Federal Contract Manager).

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $131,500 - $231,840. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $151,200 - $262,085. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
