If you are a Big 4 auditor or public company reporting professional passionate about SEC filings, external reporting, and technical accounting, this is an opportunity to step into a high-visibility role supporting 10-K/10-Q preparation and investor reporting for a Fortune 500 organization.

About the Role

This role offers direct exposure to complex accounting matters, financial statement reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with Accounting, Finance, Investor Relations, and external auditors.

You will work on quarterly and annual filings (10-Q and 10-K), earnings materials, and other regulatory disclosures, contributing to the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of Lennar's financial reporting.

This role is well-suited for a Big 4 audit or public company reporting professional seeking deeper exposure to SEC reporting and technical accounting within a Fortune 500 environment.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and support preparation of quarterly Form 10-Q and annual Form 10-K filings, including financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures

  • Assist in preparation and review of earnings releases, investor presentations, proxy statements, and other external reporting deliverables

  • Prepare and review SEC filings including 8-Ks, S-3s, S-4s, and other required disclosures

  • Partner with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits, including preparation of supporting documentation and audit coordination

  • Perform quarterly financial analysis, variance explanations, and trend analysis to support executive and investor reporting

  • Conduct and document technical accounting research related to complex transactions and evolving U.S. GAAP/SEC guidance

  • Evaluate new accounting standards and assess their impact on financial reporting and disclosures

  • Support preparation of Board and executive reporting packages, ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial messaging

  • Maintain and enhance financial reporting workpapers, disclosure support files, and internal control documentation

  • Develop and improve reporting tools, Excel models, and process efficiencies to enhance accuracy and reporting timelines

  • Support ad hoc analysis, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives within the external reporting function

What You Bring (Required Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

  • 4-7+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 strongly preferred) and/or SEC reporting within a public company

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, with ability to interpret and clearly communicate financial results

  • Hands-on experience with SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) or equivalent audit/advisory exposure

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort in technical documentation

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight reporting deadlines

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

What Sets You Apart (Preferred Qualifications)
  • CPA or active CPA candidate strongly preferred

  • Big 4 audit, technical accounting advisory, or SEC reporting experience highly desirable

  • Experience supporting public company reporting cycles and external audit coordination

  • Familiarity with tools such as Workiva, BlackLine, JD Edwards, Essbase, or ReportsNow

  • Experience drafting or reviewing financial statement disclosures and SEC comment responses

  • Exposure to executive-level or Board reporting materials

  • Strong technical accounting research and documentation skills

  • Process improvement mindset with a focus on automation and reporting efficiency

  • Industry experience in homebuilding, real estate, or construction a plus

Why This Role is Different
  • Direct ownership of key components of SEC reporting and external disclosures

  • High-impact exposure to executive reporting, audit coordination, and investor-facing deliverables
