Job description

  • Assistwith the preparation and filing of quarterly and year-end external financialreports with the SEC, including business section, risk factors, forms 10-K,10-Q, 8-K and other SEC filings as necessary.
  • Completefootnotes, MD&A and financial statement disclosures, ensuring that alldisclosures are properly supported and have been reviewed in accordance withthe company policies, including compliance with SOX.
  • Projectlead and/or Team lead those individuals who are providing information tosupport the SEC filings to ensure they understand the data being requested,have adequate processes to obtain the data and that adequate review proceduresare in place.
  • Assistwith the preparation of the stock-based compensation and earnings per share.
  • Coordinatewithin the Finance and Accounting team and with external auditors regardingrequired financial reporting related deliverables.
  • AssistFP&A in ensuring that results are reasonable and fluctuations areresearched and explained in the MD&A.
  • Assistin the preparation of the consolidation including the elimination entries.
  • Assistsubsidiary accounting groups through review of financial statements andproper/consistent accounting with the corporate team. Ensure appropriatemapping of G/L accounts to the group consolidation.
  • Assistand be a resource for subsidiary accounting groups for the implementation andcontinued monitoring of their control environment and compliance with SOX.
  • Assistwith process improvements, included but not limited to the consolidationprocess, mapping of intercompany accounts, stock based compensation, and SECreporting.
  • Providesupport for consolidations/foreign currency translation and reporting.
  • Providesupport to the corporate and operational teams in ensuring that significanttransactions are properly disclosed.
  • Assistthe Director of SEC Reporting with reviewing and documenting major corporateevents, including significant contracts, mergers and acquisitions, debt andequity offerings, stock based compensation and assess their accounting impactfor Form 8-K and other required SEC disclosures.
  • Assistin the reporting of the implementation of new GAAP and SEC standards.
  • Assistwith the research and documentation of technical accounting memos.
  • Assistwith the monitoring of formal processes to ensure that appropriate evidentialsupport is maintained to support all disclosures in the Company's SEC filingsand documenting as appropriate.
  • Contributeto the preparation of analyst presentations, ensuring they are consistent withSEC filings.
  • Providesupport in the preparation of the quarterly earnings releases and relatedmaterials.
  • Participatein external reporting systems implementations, including automation efforts.
  • Activelycontribute to the development of global accounting policies to ensure accuratefinancial reporting.
  • Activelyparticipate in year-end audits and quarterly reviews, including preparation ofaudit support schedules and related requests.
Requirements
  • Bachelor'sDegree in Accounting or Finance, plus a minimum of 4 years of relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience.
  • Advancedknowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Word, Excel,PowerPoint, and Outlook. Microsoft Dynamics D365 experience preferred.
