Job description

Position Summary: We are seeking an accounting professional to assist in the preparation of books and records in the Accounting Department and assist in the financial reporting process. The ideal candidate will be a CPA and have strong people/management skills, experience with IFRS and commodity experience. Responsibilities: • SG&A reporting and analysis.

• Corporate consolidations. • Prepare consolidation elimination entries. • Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet analyses.

• Maintain consolidated reporting spreadsheets. • Prepare intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries. • Preparation of financial statements of foreign subsidiary companies for external distribution.

• Maintain general ledger and consolidation reporting package. • Budget to actual expense analysis by department. • Compile statistical performance data.

• Maintain consolidated reporting spreadsheets. • Help with audit requests and daily accounting functions as needed. • Special projects as assigned.

Requirements: • A four-year degree in accounting/finance. • At least 3-5 years' experience. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Public / commodity accounting experience a plus. • Knowledge of IFRS. • Dynamic personality who is willing to grow at the same pace as the organization.

• Must be willing to come in office 5 days a week in our Stamford, CT office location. • Must have willingness to work additional hours as needed.
