Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Power BI - Visualization and Reporting Analyst in Deerfield Beach, FL. The client is looking for a more senior analyst who focuses on understanding the -why- behind the data, not just the output and is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Tasks:
* Collaborate with Stakeholders to understand and gather visualization and reporting requirements
* Collaborate with Data Engineers, Solution Developers, Power BI Data Modeler and Analysts to build scalable and effective visualization, and reporting solutions with interactive visuals that convey data insights
* Connect to various data sources and ensure data flows smoothly, extracting relevant data
* Perform data profiling and data analysis to gain understanding of the underlaying data used for solutions
* Prepare and model data as required for visualizations and reports
* Build visualization and reporting solutions in an Agile environment
* Create and maintain documentation, including solution documentation, design, and technical specifications as required
* Support daily operations, job scheduling, maintenance, support requests, change management, and solutions inventory
* Diagnose and resolve issues related to data connectivity, data modeling, and visualization rendering
* Follow established governance and information security practices and standards
* Learn Business Unit systems and processes
* Provide training to end-users as needed
* Contribute to the Microsoft Power BI and Power Platform COEs to efficiently evolve data practices and strengthen tool adoption at Business Unit and the comany
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field based on professional experience
* 2+ years of relevant professional experience
* Working knowledge with SQL
* Good understanding of data modeling concepts, building visualizations, and reporting solutions
* Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and Excel
* Good understanding of Citizen IT, low code/no code, data management practices, visualization, and reporting tools
* Familiarity with agile development methodology, Azure DevOps
* Excellent communication skills
* Must be highly analytical
* Organization and time management skills
* Experience with Tableau and Cognos is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
