Workday Business Systems Analyst (Finance)

Location: Evanston, IL (Hybrid – Onsite Tue/Wed) 

Fulltime/Direct Hire

We’re seeking an experienced Workday Business Systems Analyst (FIN) to support financial reporting, analytics, and operational updates for a missiondriven organization focused on research, safety, and standards development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain custom Workday Finance reports and dashboards (Report Writer, Report Designer, Prism Analytics).
  • Translate business requirements into accurate, actionable reporting solutions.
  • Execute businessasusual Finance updates (Expense Items, Worktags, Ledger Accounts, etc.).
  • Configure Spend Categories, Cost Centers, and related structures in Workday and Adaptive.
  • Validate and reconcile data across multiple sources to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong data governance and documentation practices.
  • Provide enduser training and support.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Workday Finance reporting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GL, AP, AR, FP&A, Fixed Assets.
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with requirements gathering and process documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Adaptive or Prism Analytics experience is a plus.
