About Black Equipment:
Founded in 1956, Black Equipment sells, services, and rents forklifts, construction equipment, aerial equipment, sweeper/scrubbers, personnel carriers, industrial batteries and chargers, and other specialized material handling equipment. Black Equipment also stocks and sells replacement parts for all makes and models of material handling and construction equipment. We serve customers in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi, with locations in Evansville, IN; Jasper, IN; Mt. Vernon, IL; Paducah, KY; Hopkinsville, KY; Louisville, KY; Lexington, KY; Bowling Green, KY; London, KY; Memphis, TN; Jackson, TN; and Jonesboro, AR.
About the Position:
We are expanding our sales team and seeking a highly motivated Product Support Representative (PSR) to support continued company growth. This full-time, field-based sales position is based out of our Lexington KY branch and is responsible for selling parts, service contracts, rental equipment, industrial batteries and chargers, and related products to existing and prospective customers.

Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Prior business-to-business sales experience and/or industry-related experience with IC engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electric motors, or related components required.
  • Knowledge of the forklift or heavy equipment industry preferred

Required Skills:
  • Disciplined, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to solve complex customer problems and collaborate effectively with others
  • Strong customer relationship-building skills
