Job description

Join our fast-paced manufacturing team as a Repair Manager! You'll guide a team to meet daily quality and output goals, ensuring smooth product flow and effective use of tracking systems. Your role will include hiring, training, and evaluating vehicle repair staff, maintaining safety standards, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement through training and team feedback. You'll have opportunities to resolve technical issues, support personnel development, and collaborate with engineering and management.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage a service team of technicians responsible for troubleshooting vehicle function related concerns, component replacement, and software updates
  • Oversee personnel activities for production staff, such as hiring, training, conducting performance evaluations, maintaining records, providing feedback, and ensuring productivity
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and address process gaps, resolve team feedback, communicate progress, and ensure compliance with instructions.
  • Key stakeholder for documentation review/creation for improved repair procedures and special tooling
  • Ensure team members adhere to safety, 5S, and other policy standards.
  • Allocate employee schedules strategically to efficiently meet production demands while accommodating vacation and time off in line with Zoox policies.
  • On-site requirement: This is an on-site role, 5x per week.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive or related industry. 
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing teams 
  • Skilled in organizing daily resources, including cross-functional teams
  • Familiar with manufacturing operational software (MES, JIRA, and Google Workspace)
$128,000 - $153,000 a year
Base Salary
 
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
