Job description

Northwest Roofing, an HCR Group, is currently seeking an experienced repair technician in the Arizona area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, service and perform approved repairs as requested
  • Help identify, locate, document and report to Supervisor on roof system deficiencies and issues
  • Make emergency repairs when needed to satisfy customer needs
  • Must be adaptable to constantly changing environments, weather conditions, and workplaces
  • Completed required daily paperwork, such as online documents, timesheets, CRMs, etc..
  • Must be able to travel
  • Responsible for regular vehicle maintenance
  • Responsible for taking detailed photos in company cam for all repairs
  • Additional duties and responsibilities may be required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school education or GED
  • Construction safety certification such as OSHA training is a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Driver’s License

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Physical fitness level that will allow for quick movement, climbing, bending and lifting heavy loads
  • Previous experience in roofing, construction, or related scope of work
  • General knowledge of roofing procedures, techniques, and specialties
  • Strong work ethic and desire to perform quality work
  • Endurance to spend hours working in extreme weather conditions such as heat or cold

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Regularly wear gloves, hard hats, safety goggles, or earplugs, depending on the job
  • Are sometimes exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures when working outdoors
  • Able to lift 40 pounds
  • Climb a ladder safely
  • Usually work close to others, typically within a few feet
  • Stand, walk, and climbing
