Training will be provided for the following: Crane inspections, Maintenance, Installation of SRD overhead, jib, and gantry cranes, Electrical and mechanical print reading and troubleshooting, AC drive wiring and programming.
Responsibilities
Job Requirements:
Assist with the following:
  • Monthly crane inspections
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshooting and repair tasks of all electrical/mechanical crane systems.
  • Operation of mobile equipment including fork truck, tele-handler, man lift and overhead cranes.
  • Will be required to work at heights.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Must have a strong safety record.
  • Industrial mechanical and electrical experience with a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication with problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work with a team or in an individual setting.

Preferred:
Experience in the following:
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining AC drives and PLC circuits.
  • Industrial electrical knowledge including 3 phase AC motors and controls.
  • Electrical and mechanical maintenance of production equipment.
  • Electrical testing equipment, Arc and mig welding.

Our metals recycling operations collect and process ferrous and nonferrous scrap from manufacturing and end-of-life items, such as automobiles, appliances, and machinery. This processed scrap is then sold to end-users for reuse, including our EAF steel mills, which produce new steel from the scrapped material. We sell a meaningful amount of steel to our own steel fabrication operations that in turn produce and sell structural steel joist and deck building systems to consumers.
