Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Repack Department Lead to provide day-to-day leadership in repack operations in a high-volume warehouse environment. This role is responsible for directing production activities, coordinating team assignments, monitoring operational performance, and ensuring customer orders are completed safely, efficiently, and accurately. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who excels at developing employees, solving problems on the floor, and driving productivity while maintaining exceptional quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily repack department operations by coordinating workflow and assigning labor based on production priorities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop production associates and team leads to achieve performance expectations.
- Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and customer requirements throughout each shift.
- Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, customer service, and maintenance teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Address production issues quickly, implement solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate production documentation while promoting a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of warehouse or manufacturing experience.
- 1+ years of leadership experience in a Lead or Supervisor position.
- Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in repacking, contract packaging, or production operations.
- Experience leading teams of 20+ employees.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
- Forklift certification.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Employment Type & Compensation
- Temporary
- Compensation: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience
- Application Period: This position will remain open until filled
Work Schedule
- Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
