General Warehouse

The General Warehouse Worker is responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Accurately building and staging orders based on pick ticket for loading onto delivery trucks
  • Manually lifting and moving product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation
  • Using appropriate manual or powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) to move product and materials to designated locations
  • Assisting with the daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse
  • Working in the recycling room, re-working damaged product and stacking empty pallets and shells
  • Meeting productivity requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred. Prior warehouse experience preferred. Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred. Must have the ability to repetitively lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach. Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.
