Job Summary: 

The warehouse associate is responsible for preparing account orders, replenishing stock, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. This position supports inventory accuracy, product rotation, and timely order fulfillment, while complying with all company safety standards and operational procedures.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare account orders by picking products using scan guns or other pick systems.
     
  • Replenish inventory and ensure accurate product rotation.
     
  • Wrap, stage, and secure pallets for delivery.
     
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in accordance with company safety rules.
     
  • Inspect equipment prior to use and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
     
  • Repack damaged or broken products and notify supervisors of product defects or shortages.
     
  • Help minimize breakage and contribute to quality and accuracy of order fulfillment.
     
  • Meet production and accuracy goals consistently.
     
  • Assist with stocking, organizing, and replenishing product in designated areas.
     
  • Complete assigned training, seminars, and safety classes.
     
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management or designee.

Requirements

Job Requirements: 

A valid driver's license, preferred.

Basic computer and math skills.

Strong time management skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work as part of a team and assist in various tasks as needed.

Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.


Physical Demands:

Regularly required to use hands for handling, grasping, and reaching.

Frequent standing, walking, stooping, or kneeling.

Occasional sitting, climbing, and balancing.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly.

Frequently sitting as a passenger during deliveries, along with physical activity such as unloading and moving product using resources. 


Unavoidable Hazards (Work Environment)

Involves frequent/infrequent, occasional, and routine exposure to:

Routine exposure to warehouse conditions with varying temperatures.

Exposure to moving equipment, pallet stacks, and occasional product breakage.

Risk of slips, trips, or falls when working around equipment or wet floors.

Noise, dust, and other warehouse-related environmental conditions.

Other extreme hazards not listed above. 


Special Certifications and Licenses: 

Possess and maintain a valid state Driver's License with an acceptable driving record, preferred. 

Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screen.
