Job description

Renold Morristown is recruiting for skilled and motivated CNC Operators to join our production team. In this role, you will operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality components according to engineering drawings and production specifications.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with machining experience who enjoys working with precision equipment, tooling, and advanced manufacturing technology.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE: note that this is not the complete job description. The full job description is attached to the posting.

As a CNC Operator, you will:

  • Operate CNC machines to machine components to print specifications
  • Review setup sheets and select proper tooling and materials
  • Perform minor program adjustments and tool offsets
  • Load materials and change tooling as needed
  • Conduct first-piece inspections using:
    • Calipers
    • Micrometers
    • Gauges

  • Perform periodic quality inspections during production
  • Operate multiple machines to meet production requirements
  • Maintain machines through routine maintenance
  • Move materials to the next production operation
  • Maintain accurate production documentation
  • Keep work areas clean and organized

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CNC machining experience
  • Ability to read and interpret machining drawings
  • Understanding of tooling and machining processes
  • Experience making minor program adjustments
  • Knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment
  • Strong attention to quality and detail



Monday - Friday; 2nd Shift: 3:30pm - 11:30pm
Monday - Friday; 1st Shift; 7am - 3:30pm
Sunday - Thursday; 3rd Shift; 11pm - 7:30am
