Job Description:
We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Product Manager with strong expertise in Gainsight, Salesforce, and customer lifecycle management processes including Renewals, Product Expansion/Upsell, and Terminations/Churn Management. The ideal candidate will drive product initiatives that optimize customer retention, revenue growth, and operational efficiency across subscription and customer success platforms.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead product strategy and roadmap for customer lifecycle management solutions focused on renewals, retention, upsell, and churn reduction.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, RevOps, Finance, and Engineering teams to define scalable business processes and platform enhancements.
  • Manage and optimize workflows within Gainsight and Salesforce for:
    • Subscription Renewals
    • Product Expansion / Cross-sell / Upsell
    • Contract Amendments
    • Customer Terminations / Cancellations
    • Retention Campaigns
  • Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Own backlog prioritization and delivery planning for Salesforce and Gainsight enhancements.
  • Design and improve customer health scoring, renewal forecasting, risk identification, and lifecycle automation.
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve renewal efficiency and customer engagement.
  • Analyze customer usage, retention trends, churn metrics, and revenue expansion opportunities.
  • Partner with technical teams to implement integrations between Gainsight, Salesforce, billing systems, and customer data platforms.
  • Define KPIs and success metrics related to ARR retention, churn reduction, renewal rates, and expansion revenue.
  • Conduct stakeholder reviews, demos, UAT sessions, and release planning activities.
  • Ensure data consistency, reporting accuracy, and process governance across systems.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience as a Product Manager, Business Systems Analyst, or Product Owner in Customer Success or CRM platforms.
  • Hands-on expertise with:
    • Gainsight CS
    • Salesforce CRM / Salesforce CPQ
    • Subscription lifecycle management
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Renewals management
    • Customer retention strategies
    • Product expansion / upsell workflows
    • Customer offboarding and terminations
  • Experience defining business processes and automations for SaaS customer lifecycle operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce objects, workflows, reports, dashboards, and integrations.
  • Experience with customer health scoring, CTAs, playbooks, and lifecycle orchestration in Gainsight.
  • Ability to convert business needs into epics, features, and user stories.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
