This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance effectively. However, you will be an integral part of our outpatient team, engaging regularly through virtual meetings and case consultations. • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms, facilitating a comprehensive understanding of their mental health needs.
• Collaborate with clients to design and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique goals, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.
• Educate clients and their family members on mood disorders, self-care strategies, and available treatment options, fostering a supportive and understanding environment.
• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on continuous assessment and feedback to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients with multifaceted needs.
• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to refine therapeutic strategies and improve client care.
• Maintain confidential and accurate documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate actively in case discussions, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance your practice and contribute to the team's collective knowledge.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, addressing stigma and ensuring they receive the support and resources they require.

Our client base includes a diverse range of individuals encountering various challenges related to mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. We also focus on groups facing significant societal challenges, such as refugees, domestic abuse survivors, and the homeless. Your role is pivotal in delivering compassionate care that considers their unique circumstances, promoting healing and resilience.

• A valid and active state license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to form secure and trusting therapeutic relationships through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibit a non-judgmental attitude, along with empathy and understanding of clients' struggles, creating a safe therapeutic environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills crucial for managing caseloads efficiently and fulfilling administrative tasks.

• Experience working with diverse populations, particularly those affected by mood disorders.
• Familiarity with clinical practices and evidence-based treatments relevant to mood disorders.
• Background in trauma-informed care or similar methodologies can be advantageous.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
