Range: $3,000 per month

About the Company & Role

We are seeking an experienced Short Form Editor to create and publish the day-to-day short-form content for 100 Thieves Roobet Counter-Strike. This role focuses on editing engaging short-form content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts to build a robust content pipeline and grow our online presence. Your primary objective is to drive significant growth in followers, views, and engagement by building fandom and actively engaging with our community. Additionally, you will be a core admin for 100 Thieves CS Roobet, covering match day and tournament short-form content for a Tier-1 organization. As a voice of 100T Roobet CS, you will help lead the charge on building a powerful community for a generational title.

Success requires strong editing craft, a deep understanding of social media trends, the ability to execute and test new content, and a strong, clear brand voice to represent 100T Roobet CS in the best light. The CS Short Form Editor must be able to self-start and create content independently and proactively, seizing the moment and opportunities in real time, often live from an event.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in short-form video editing and/or social media content creation, ideally for a sports, gaming, or esports brand.
  • Expert proficiency in a short-form editing toolkit, CapCut and/or Adobe Premiere Pro required; working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop strongly preferred.
  • A proven track record of successfully growing gaming and/or esports social channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter/X, with a portfolio that demonstrates platform-aware storytelling.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Counter-Strike 2: gameplay, meta, players, teams, and community, plus a strong understanding of the broader FPS and traditional sports landscape.
  • Solid understanding of short-form and long-form social media trends and platform best practices across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram.
  • Ability to analyze and iterate social content to produce the best views, engagement, and follower growth.
  • Working knowledge of audio editing, color correction, captions/subtitles, and platform export/codec workflows.
  • Strong communication and marketing skills, with the ability to organize multiple campaigns at once.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to identify and resolve challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Keen ability to think and react to situations quickly and confidently.
  • Experience in Sprout Social, Planable, Zoomph, and/or other social media management and listening software.
  • Availability to work non-standard hours around match days, tournaments, and time zones, with willingness to travel to events.
  • Filming and photography skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and publish high-volume, high-quality short-form content for gaming social channels, optimized per platform (TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X).
  • Turn raw footage, in-game clips, POVs, behind-the-scenes, player interviews, and LAN/travel b-roll into polished, on-brand edits with tight pacing, transitions, sound design, and motion graphics.
  • Develop and execute social media plans/schedules for our gaming social accounts.
  • Build a social content pipeline, primarily short-form content on TikTok, IG Reels, and other channels.
  • Build fandom through community engagement on and beyond our O&O social channels.
  • Monitor and analyze key social metrics and iterate on content for the focus target audience, staying informed and capitalizing on platform trends + breaking news.
  • Be a voice of gaming through content and engagement.
  • Capture original content on-site and remotely, coordinating shoots with players, coaches, and production when needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing, partnership, and esports to ensure channels align with broader business objectives.
