We Care Youth and Family Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team in a fulfilling full-time, remote position. • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, ensuring diagnostic accuracy and a clear understanding of their unique challenges.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that align with individual client goals and needs, employing therapeutic techniques that best suit each situation.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, utilizing appropriate interventions and therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's background and circumstances.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary treatment teams, including medical professionals and social workers, to provide comprehensive and holistic care for clients.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines to protect client privacy and ensure the integrity of service delivery.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision, case conferences, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Our counseling center primarily focuses on youth and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and addiction. You will work with clients from varied socioeconomic backgrounds, employing culturally sensitive approaches that honor their unique experiences and challenges. Your role will be vital in helping clients overcome emotional and psychological barriers while fostering resilience and personal growth.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in the state of Maryland.
• A Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A demonstrated record of conducting individual and group therapy in clinical settings, with specific techniques applied to mental health treatment.
• Proficiency in contemporary evidence-based therapeutic methods and a commitment to upholding best practices in clinical care.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that facilitate clear information sharing with clients and team members alike.
• Commitment to ethical principles and the safeguarding of client confidentiality without exception.

• Experience working with youth and families facing complex emotional and psychological challenges.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and techniques, as well as readiness to engage with vulnerable populations.
• Knowledge of relevant electronic health record (EHR) systems used in mental health counseling.
