Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individualized and group counseling sessions tailored to the specific needs of clients facing a broad array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Perform thorough assessments including intake interviews and psychological evaluations, effectively gathering information to develop comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions that address client needs while incorporating a strengths-based approach to enhance client motivation and self-efficacy.
• Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling to clients and their families, facilitating immediate solutions and long-term therapeutic strategies.
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring that care is coordinated across various service providers and that client's overall wellness is prioritized.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of patient records in accordance with ethical standards, legal requirements, and organizational policies, utilizing electronic health record systems for efficiency.
• Stay current with research, emerging trends, and effective practices in mental health counseling to continually enhance therapeutic offerings.
• Participate in ongoing supervision, professional training, and development activities, positioning yourself for both personal and organizational growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field, such as psychology, counseling, or social work.
• Independent Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Oregon, issued by the state board.

• Proven capability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
