Work Environment

This full-time position operates in a remote telehealth setting, allowing you to contribute from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients across Knoxville, Tennessee, and beyond. Our supportive work culture encourages work-life balance, with a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Our team communicates through digital platforms, ensuring that collaboration is seamless and effective. The remote format enhances accessibility for both counselors and clients, allowing for greater flexibility in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client assessments to formulate suitable treatment plans based on individual needs and circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to provide therapeutic interventions, ensuring that clients are supported in achieving their mental health goals.
• Lead engaging therapy sessions, adapting your approach to meet the varying needs of clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Document client interactions and progress meticulously, maintaining confidentiality and complying with ethical standards and regulations.
• Participate in clinical meetings to discuss case updates, share insights on treatment strategies, and collaborate with fellow team members.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to enhance current therapeutic practices and improve overall client experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a varied client demographic, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, each facing distinct mental health challenges. Our clients may present with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. As a counselor, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys and make significant strides towards recovery and personal development.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Current and active state licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD) in Tennessee.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology, including telehealth platforms, Google Suite applications, and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with clients and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of professional experience in a clinical counseling role, with a focus on mental health.
• Experience working in a telehealth environment, demonstrating adaptability and comfort with virtual client interactions.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and an understanding of cultural competency in therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
